Co-creator of The Muppets, Jane Nebel Henson, has sadly passed away after fighting cancer, she was 78. Jane, along with her more famous late husband, Jim Henson, created what would be the forerunners for The Muppets, a TV show called SAM & FRIENDS which among other puppets featured a prototype of what would later be Kermit The Frog. She also started The Jim Henson Legacy which was created to preserve the work of her late husband, as well as The Jane Henson Foundation which supported various philanthropic causes.
I owe her a lot of gratitude having grown up with THE MUPPET SHOW and especially SESAME STREET, and we here at THN send our condolences to her children Cheryl, Lisa, Heather, Brian & John who will continue their parents legacy in the future.
Esben Evans is the Danish contingent on this site. He enjoys films, swearing a lot, and a nice pair of slacks.
