Anyone who loves great science fiction and incredible writing loves THE TWILIGHT ZONE, but two decades after that show finished, we got the underrated 1985 series THE NEW TWILIGHT ZONE. Now, for the first time, it’s being released on DVD as a complete collection on 13 discs, from Shock Entertainment and Fremantle Media Enterprises. That’s 27 hours of shocking stories. If that wasn’t enough, the series is home to some incredible talent. RED stars Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren and Morgan Freeman all make appearances, and the writers room is equally star packed thanks to the likes of Stephen King, George R.R. Martin, Richard Matheson, and Arthur C. Clarke. That’s the writers behind such classics as THE SHINING, GAME OF THROWNS, I AM LEGEND, and 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY. Completing the all star teams behind these shows are some A-List directing talent such as William Friedkin, Wes Craven, and Joe Dante. With so much talent and so many stories to get through, you’re bound to find plenty of stories for you to enjoy.
THE NEW TWILIGHT ZONE is released on 29th April 2013. It stars Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren, Morgan Freeman, Janet Leigh, Melinda Dillon, Peter Coyote, Jenny Agutter, Shelley Duvall, Fred Savage, Lucas Haas, Jeffrey Jones, Elliot Gould, Ralph Bellamy, Charles Martin Smith, Meg Foster, Eric Bogosian, Season Hubley, Scott Grimes, Dee Wallace, Adrienne Barbeau, Danny Kaye, Piper Laurie and Pam Dawber.

Umm, no. When supernatural things happen in what is supposed to be the “real” world, it’s called fantasy. Science fiction is a whole different thing.
