Check out the latest featurette from TRON: LEGACY director Joseph Kosinski’s latest sci-fi epic, OBLIVION. This gives us a focus on ‘The Sky Tower’, which is the futuristic home for Tom Cruise and Andrea Riseborough’s characters, Jack and Julia, in the film.
OBLIVION Hits UK cinemas and IMAX on THE 12th April, and the US from 19th April and follows Jack Harper, who is one of the last few drone repairmen stationed on a dying Earth. He’s part of a massive operation to extract vital resources after decades of war with an alien race known as Scavs, with his mission almost complete. However, a mysterious strangers arrival forces him to question everything he knows about the history of Earth, putting the survival of mankind in his hands.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.

I hope this will be better than the Tron sequel. It sounds promising at least.
