Whether we see Dr. Hank Pym introduced somewhere in Marvel’s ‘Phase II’ remains to be seen, but we doubt he’ll appear in the upcoming IRON MAN 3 and THOR: THE DARK WORLD. The scientist, who will undergo the tiny transformation into ANT-MAN, will see his very own solo superhero effort hit cinemas worldwide on the 6th November 2015. Expect an minor appearance in Joss Whedon’s AVENGERS sequel, or if we’re lucky, an early glimpse in CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER.
ANT-MAN will mark the beginning of Marvel Studios’ ‘Phase III’ with quirky Brit director Edgar Wright at the helm of the big-budget sci-fi film, co-written alongside Joe Cornish. Last summer saw Wright debut test footage shot in early 2012 at the San Diego Comic-Con last summer. He recently previewed it again at an event in London and this time, someone was able to video it (badly) to give fans a sneak peek. It looks damn fun too!

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
