With Seth MacFarlane, Amanda Seyfried, Liam Neeson, Charlize Theron and Giovanni Ribisi already confirmed for MacFarlane’s new comedy A MILLION WAYS TO DIE IN THE WEST, who could possibly join this star-packed cast now? Sarah Silverman, of course!
MacFarlane (the brains behind TED) is set to play a lowly farmer who chickens out of a gunfight, consequently disgracing his woman (Seyfried), who decides to leave the town (and her shame) behind. However, when a mysterious lady (Theron) offers to help him win his love back, the farmer can’t refuse. Only problem? She’s married to the always-angry-and-out-for-revenge Neeson, an outlaw who returns to town to find the farmer putting the moves on his wife.
So if everyone already has a character, who could Silverman play? It has been reported that Silverman is to feature as a prostitute (and apparently one who’s open for anything!) But, of course, Silverman wouldn’t play any old prostitute. Having slept with nearly everyone in town, there’s one person she refuses to bed – her fiance (Ribsi). Her reason? Well, she’s extremely religious and believes she should save herself for her wedding night…
I’m a huge fan of Silverman (I really miss her Comedy Central show THE SARAH SILVERMAN PROGRAM) but wasn’t too impressed with TED. After being told by numerous people that it was hilarious, I wasn’t convinced. However, A MILLION WAYS TO DIE IN THE WEST has collected a brilliant cast, so this could be a hit in my book.

Considering Jazmine grew up watching CARRY ON SCREAMING, THE LION KING and JURASSIC PARK on repeat for weeks on end, it made sense for her to study film at London South Bank University. It’s also a good thing that her course requires a lot of sitting down because she’s very accident-prone. When she’s not examining her bruises, she likes pretending that she doesn’t live in Southend-On-Sea and spends hours mindlessly blogging. Favourite films include BLUE VALENTINE, ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND and TOY STORY 2.
