It’s all coming together! The American reboot of one of the most prolific and exceptional franchises ever has started principal photography in Vancouver. GODZILLA will see MONSTERS director Gareth Edwards taking a realistic and grounded approach to the invasion of a gigantic lizard. We can also announce that Ken Watanabe has joined the, already exceptional, cast. There are no words to express the excitement we should all be feeling right now. I say it’s time superheroes took a back seat to big monster movies, or maybe combine the two.
GODZILLA will be released 16th May 2014. It stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, Ken Watanabe, Bryan Cranston, and David Strathairn.
