Last night saw THN at the London-soaked red-carpet premiere of action sequel, G.I. JOE: RETALIATION (catch our interview with stars Dwayne Johnson, Byung-hun Lee and Jonathan Pryce here). We’re quick to follow that up with an all-new featurette centring on Channing Tatum’s character, Duke, as well as a special message from the bad guy organisation, Cobra and a couple of awesome new character posters.
John M. Chu takes over the directing duties from the previous Stephen Sommers, with the film opening in 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D theaters on the 27th March. It also co-stars D.J. Cotrona, Adrianne Palicki, Ray Park, Ray Stevenson and Bruce Willis. Fingers crossed we’re in for a rip-roaring, action-packed time after the disappointing franchise opener, based on the iconic Hasbro action figures!

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
