Original Trio Sign On For ‘Horrible Bosses 2’

It’s taken quite while but New Line Cinema have finally negotiated the return of Jason Bateman, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis for the sequel to their murderous smash hit comedy, HORRIBLE BOSSES. The follow-up will once again be directed by Seth Gordon and scripted by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, with shooting set to commence in the summer.

The 2011 film saw the trio play best friends pushed to the limit by their superiors and devise a crazy plan to get rid of each of their respective employers. It’s expected the sequel will feature new ‘victims’ after Colin Farrell, Kevin Spacey and Jennifer Aniston played the HORRIBLE BOSSES. There is no word yet if any of them will cameo, although Farrell’s character did die in the first film.

Another cast member also expected to return is Jamie Foxx, who is in talks to reprise his scene-stealing role of ‘murder consultant’, ‘Mutha F**ker’ Jones.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
