the-guilt-trip-poster-1

THE GUILT TRIP, which hits the UK cinemas on the 8th March, follows struggling novice inventor Andy (Seth Rogen), who is guilted in to bringing his mother (Barbra Streisand) on a road-trip across the country. Across 3,000 miles of ever-changing landscape, he is constantly aggravated by her antics, but over time he comes to realize that their lives have more in common than he originally thought. His mother’s advice might end up being exactly what he needs.

Streisand, 70, who hit the screen as an actress in 1968’s comedy FUNNY GIRL, returns to her comedic roots as Joyce, Andy’s overbearing mother. Inspired by Streisand we made a list about women in film that have carried on working to their later years.
