The new imagining of ROBOCOP must be pretty much done if comments made by one its leading actors are to be believed. Abbie Cornish has apparently been quoted in saying that the film’s director Jose Padilha thinks its a classic. It’s not out for another year!
In an interview with VH1, the actress said:
“It’s gonna be a massively kick-ass film. I actually have a voicemail message from Jose Padilha, the director. He says in the message, ‘I don’t think we’ve got a great movie. I think we’ve got a classic.'”
First of all, how does he know this this far out? In regards to my previous comments about it being done, well it can’t be can it? Surely there are about a gazillion effects shots and doctoring to do, right?
