Earlier this week we announced some casting made for Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu’s next feature BIRDMAN. The film will star Michael Keaton as an actor once famed for playing a superhero, trying to direct a Broadway production. Zack Galifianakis will play a producer, with Naomi Watts as the lead actress and Emma Stone as Keaton’s daughter.
Well another ex-superhero is set to join the cast, as Edward Norton (formerly the Hulk) will play the lead actor in Keaton’s play whose ego causes much conflict. Production looks set to begin in mid-April in an actual Broadway theatre. This will be Inarritu’s first comedy, after having dealt with darker dramas such as BIUTIFUL, BABEL, 21 GRAMS, and AMORES PERROS.
