We’ve now had character posters for THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE’s flamboyant madam, Effie Trinkett (played by the gorgeous Elizabeth Banks), and Stanley Tucci’s games commentator, Ceaser Flickerman. Now it’s the turn of Harrelson’s Haymitch.
THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE is the big-screen follow-up to last years hit film based on author Suzanne Collins best-selling novels. This time Francis Lawrence takes over directing duties, following Gary Ross’ record-breaking hit with the returning Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Donald Sutherland, Toby Jones, Harrelson Tucci and Banks, alongside newcomers Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, Jeffrey Wright and Amanda Plummer. It hits cinemas worldwide from 22nd November.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
