The internet is going bonkers with THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 set pics at the moment, but what do you expect when filming on location? The pictures so far having been astonishingly exciting at the moment, but this new batch gives us a glimpse at what will probably be an exciting sequence. First we have stills of Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) and Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) visiting Chinatown, and then we have some shots showing an upside down car, further pictures of Mary Jane, and our first look at a Daily Bugle van. I’m still not sure how I feel about this sequel so far. The first film felt like a very unnecessary sequel, but this one has the ability to become its own film and really distinguish the franchise as separate from Raimi’s trilogy. However, I’m not convinced of Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane Watson.
THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 will be released in the UK on 18th April 2014 and in the US on 2nd May 2014. It is set to star Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Paul Giamatti, Dane DeHaan, Sally Field, Martin Sheen, and Shailene Woodley.

Luke likes many things, films and penguins being among them. He's loved films since the age of 9, when STARGATE and BATMAN FOREVER changed the landscape of modern cinema as we know it. His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies. His favourite films include SEVEN SAMURAI, PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, IN BRUGES, LONE STAR, GODZILLA, and a thousand others.

I can’t wait to find out which of the villains caused the car damage. To try to cope with my excitement to find out, I have been watching the Spider-Man movies using Blockbuster @Home from DISH. My busy work schedule at DISH makes me really appreciate how quick it is to update my queue with movies. It also helps that I can do an in store exchange on days when I forget to return a movie. Watching the movies has made the wait easier, but I am still counting the days until I find get to find out the truth behind these photos.
