ALL YOU NEED IS KILL is looking to be another massive success for Tom Cruise. Who would have funked he’d be experiencing such a surge in awesomeness at the age of 50? But with films such as MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: GHOST PROTOCOL, JACK REACHER, the upcoming OBLIVION and ALL YOU NEED IS KILL, he seems to be speeding up instead of slowing down. ALL YOU NEED IS KILL is directed by THE BOURNE IDENTITY helmer Doug Liman and is based on a Japanese comic by Hiroshi Sakurazaka. Think GROUNDHOG DAY, with lots of violence, as Cruise stars as a warrior during an alien battle who keeps dying and then coming back, each time becoming a little more skilled. Hooray for time loops.
The film is currently shooting in London (Honestly! These megastars come over ‘ere, stealing our jobs.) and here is some set footage that shows Cruise cruising on a motorbike, avoiding cars, and feeling cold.
ALL YOU NEED IS KILL is released 7th March 2014. It stars Tom Cruise, Emily Blunt, Bill Paxton, Charlotte Riley, Jonas Armstrong, and Marianne Jean-Baptiste.
