CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS was one of those bozarre little offerings that could have been an inept wste of time, or a surreal bit of fantasy hilarity. Luckily it was the latter, and of course a sequel is sailing its way towards us. This first poster shows the cast of CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS arriving at an island where their leftovers have somehow mutated into personified terrors. Judging by this poster the leftovers aren’t exactly friendly, with the Spider-burger and cucumbers looking particularly nasty. No doubt the film will be filled with topical issues such as genetic modification of food, and what it means to exist. The trailer is set to premiere tomorrow, so we’ll be bringing you that (if we can be bothered).
CLOUDY 2: REVENGE OF THE LEFTOVERS is released on 27th September 2013 in the US and 25th October 2013 in the UK. It stars the vocal talents of Bill Hader, Anna Faris, Andy Samberg, Neil Patrick Harris, James Caan, and Terry Crews.
