It’s a definite Steve Coogan Day in the THN office today, especially with those shots earlier today of him in the Alan Partridge movie and now we get a look at his other big project, THE LOOK OF LOVE. The biopic directed by Michael Winterbottom focuses on the Soho entrepreneur Paul Raymond and is the latest collaboration with Coogan after the excellent THE TRIP (that also co-starred Rob Brydon) and others before including 24 HOUR PARTY PEOPLE and A COCK AND BULL STORY.
This 1960s and 70s-style poster features Coogan as Raymond, plus his wife Jean (Anna Friel), his mistress Fiona Richmond (Tamsin Egerton) and daughter, Debbie (Imogen Poots). We’re sure that beneath the party at Revuebar in Soho, there will be tender story lurking as it’s sure to dive into the dark side of all their success at the time.
