Twentieth Century Fox have just announced the full cast list for RIO 2, the sequel to the colourful smash hit animated film. The main cast members of Jesse Eisenberg, Anne Hathaway, Jamie Foxx, Rodrigo Santoro, and will.i.am are set to return along with director Carlos Saldanha. New additions include Andy Garcia, Kristin Chenoweth, Bruno Mars, news anchor Natalie Morales, and Janelle Monae. The latter will also provide original music to the film. It has been confirmed that the film will be set around the Rio 2014 World Cup, with the main plot seeing Blu (Eisenberg) and Jewell (Hathaway) disagreeing on how to raise their kids.
RIO 2 is set for release 4th April in the UK and 14th April in the US. It stars Jesse Eisenberg, Anne Hathaway, Jamie Foxx, Rodrigo Santoro, Kristin Chenoweth, Bruno Mars, Natalie Morales, Janelle Monae, Andy Garcia, and will.i.am.
