NINJA TURTLES, the reboot of TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES, has been met with nothing but controversy after it was announced producer, Michael Bay, was changing the characters’ origins to that of aliens. Well it seems as though Bay is trying to make amends, but not with fans of the TMNT. Instead, Bay has kissed and made up with TRANSFORMERS actress Megan Fox and cast her in the role of heroine reporter, April O’Neil. Fox was noticeably absent from the third part of that trilogy after a rather public war of the words between Fox and Bay. Michael Bay posted on his blog:

Jonathan Liebesman is set to direct, and Bay and co. are currently on the lookout for some brand new talent to fill the roles of the Turtles. I don’t really see Megan Fox as April O’Neil, but then again, news reporters have changed over the last few decades in order to add sex appeal, so it could work.
NINJA TURTLES is set for release on 16th May 2014.
