Terence Malick is one of the most secretive directors working today. So secretive in fact that he doesn’t even make an appearance in this ‘Making Of…’ for his latest film, TO THE WONDER. I’m a huge fan of Malick’s, and he is one of the only directors I would consider as having had a perfect career (so far). This is such a rare an honest glimpse into his working process, and even though it’s only 4 minutes long, it’s more than what we get for a lot of his films. Cast and crew talk about the lack of a script and their joy of working on such a project. Best of all are the stars honest comments on the reading lists given to them by Malick. Check out the lengthy synopsis for the film or the trailer if you’re still a tad undecided.
TO THE WONDER will be released on the 22nd February in the UK and 12th April in the US. It stars Ben Affleck, Rachel McAdams, Javier Bardem, Olga Kurylenko, and Charles Baker.

Luke likes many things, films and penguins being among them. He's loved films since the age of 9, when STARGATE and BATMAN FOREVER changed the landscape of modern cinema as we know it. His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies. His favourite films include SEVEN SAMURAI, PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, IN BRUGES, LONE STAR, GODZILLA, and a thousand others.
