FAST AND FURIOUS 6 is barely out of the gate and we’re already getting rumours that hint towards the villain role for FAST AND FURIOUS 7. Not surprising really, as at one point director Justin Lin was considering shooting some sequels back to back. It is also rumoured that the actor taking on villain duties may very well cameo at the end of FAST AND FURIOUS 6, so allow me to put this picture below and I’ll reveal the star’s name after that. Ain’t I considerate?
The actor rumoured to be appearing as the next villain is no other than Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson’s brother in baldness, Jason Statham. Apparently, Statham will be playing the brother of FAST AND FURIOUS 6’s main villain, Luke Evans, and will introduce himself at the end of the film. There are also suggestions that Statham will be, in some way, connected to one of the franchise’s previous entries. These rumours are courtesy of AICN, but their details are even more spoilerific than what we have here, so be warned.
So there you have it. Statham to join the absolutely massive franchise. Will this make the film even bigger? Even badder? Or just balder?
FAST AND FURIOUS 6 is released 24th May 2013. Its stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Luke Evans, Michelle Rodriguez, Gina Carano, Jordana Brewster, Sung Kang, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, and a whole bunch of awesome cars.

Luke likes many things, films and penguins being among them. He's loved films since the age of 9, when STARGATE and BATMAN FOREVER changed the landscape of modern cinema as we know it. His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies. His favourite films include SEVEN SAMURAI, PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, IN BRUGES, LONE STAR, GODZILLA, and a thousand others.
