Today from Blue Sky Animation, we bring you some new character posters for 20th Century Fox’s upcoming mini-epic titled, well, EPIC! If you go back and watch the trailer, you’ll find a mash-up of HONEY I SHRUNK THE KIDS tied into the nature of FERNGULLY which possible nods to climate change, the saving of wildlife and fun being a tiny person in a giant insect nation. INSECT NATION!
Moving on, EPIC feels like its got a good heart and will be more a family-friendly film, leaning towards the kids sensibilities rather than the adults. This isn’t a bad thing of course, and these bright character posters go a long way to seeking out that target audience. Take a look at the previous poster by clicking here and let us know what you think of these new banners featuring heroine MK, leading man Nod and nemesis Mandrake.
EPIC is released in the UK and USA on 24th May, 2013. It stars the voice talents of Colin Farrell, Josh Hutcherson, Amanda Seyfried, Christoph Waltz, Pitbull, Jason Sudeikis, Steven Tyler, Aziz Ansari, Chris O’Dowd, Blake Anderson and Judah Friedlander.
