We have a bunch of first images for a number of anticipated and upcoming projects.First up is Google-themed comedy THE INTERNSHIP, which reunites WEDDING CRASHERS Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson and follows two recently laid-off salesmen who try to make it as interns at Google, despite their managers being half their age. REAL STEEL and NIGHT AT THE MUSUEM’s Shawn Levy directs the film set for cinemas on the 7th June in the US and 4th July in the UK.
Next, it’s the blood-soaked first look at Eli Roth’s cannibal horror THE GREEN INFERNO, which is inspired by video-nasty classic, CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST. It’s also the filmmakers first effort behind-the-camera since 2007s, HOSTEL PART II, and has a plot which sees a groups of American students encounter a flesh-eating tribe in the Amazon rainforest. There’s no release date yet, but expect it around Halloween.
Finally we have a new still from Harold Zwart’s dark fantasy adventure, THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES, which is based the best-selling novel by Cassandra Clare. The film centres on Clary Fray, who discovers the truth of her bloodline, when her mother is taken by demons. With the help of friends, she sets out on a journey to rescue her beloved parent. Lily Collins is the lead for the film due 23rd August.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
