In 2008, Wesley Snipes began shooting the western horror GALLOWWALKERS, in which he was due to star as the lead Aman, the son of a nun, who breaks her covenant with God to ensure his survival. The character is then left cursed, to be haunted by all those who die by his hand. When a ruthless gang murder his wife, Aman sets on revenge mission to hunt them down and kill them all, only to see the gang rise as undead warriors seeking their own vengeance.
Sadly, Snipes’ infamous incarceration for tax evasion saw the actor unable to finish the production and do the necessary promotional press work needed to release/hype the film. GALLOWWALKERS has subsequently been stuck in purgatory, but with Snipes soon the be released in the next few months, he’s expected to complete a number of key scenes and producers are currently shopping the film around European markets.
Check out this first official poster for the film directed by Andrew Goth and co-starring Kevin Howarth, Patrick Bergin, Riley Smith, Dallas Page and Tanit Phoenix. Expect it later this year. We’ve also added the trailer for the unfinished film below.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
