You spend all that money on an advertising slot for the big game, and then stick the TV spot on the interweb early. I dunno! But perhaps people just can’t wait that long anymore, or companies realise that people don’t need to sit through an entire sporting event just to get a glimpse of future films. Below we can see the TV spots for the Brad Pitt zombie flick WORLD WAR Z and the Dwayne Johnson actioner SNITCH. Neither clip shows us anything we haven’t seen already, which may be why they’ve been put out early. Both films look okay in my books, and I’m pretty sure they’ll deliver the goods.
WORLD WAR Z is released 21st June 2013. It stars Brad Pitt, Matthew Fox, and David Morse.
SNITCH is released 22nd February in the US and 5th April in the UK. It stars Dwayne Johnson, Susan Sarandon, Nadine Velazquez, Jon Bernthal, Michael Kenneth Williams, Harold Perrineau, Barry Pepper, and Benjamin Bratt.
Luke likes many things, films and penguins being among them. He's loved films since the age of 9, when STARGATE and BATMAN FOREVER changed the landscape of modern cinema as we know it. His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies. His favourite films include SEVEN SAMURAI, PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, IN BRUGES, LONE STAR, GODZILLA, and a thousand others.
