Here’s a teaser trailer for LUCAS, a documentary following the MMA career of Amanda Lucas, daughter of STAR WARS creator, George.
Quite simply, she seems badass. Not only because she could kick my booty and yours (although yours is really nice. I mean really nice… have you been working out? Damn…), but she is making her own way in the world. Life could have been easy for a potential intergalactic princess. But instead of following her father into a galaxy far, far away, she decided to lace up, step into the ring and throw down. For this, we at THN applaud her.
LUCAS is directed by MMA enthusiast Bobby Razak. No word on the release date yet, or whether or not JJ Abrams maybe involved. Hang on… we’ve just heard he’s doing something else. Not sure what though.

John is a gentleman, a scholar, he’s an acrobat. He is one half of the comedy duo Good Ol’ JR, and considers himself a comedy writer/performer. This view has been questioned by others. He graduated with First Class Honours in Media Arts/Film & TV, a fact he will remain smug about long after everyone has stopped caring. He enjoys movies, theatre, live comedy and writing with the JR member and hetero life partner Ryan. Some of their sketches can be seen on YouTube and YOU can take their total hits to way over 17!
