Always a cause of hot debate in the offices of THN, is the talk of sequels and how much they diminish their respective (and often great) franchise openers. One such character that never seems to suffer from much fatigue is Bruce Willis’ unlucky New York cop John McClane and his DIE HARD outings. Yes, the original is always going to be that groundbreaking 1980s action classic, but each sequel has had their moments and none have been desperately poor – and we include Len Wiseman’s most recent adventure in that.
The fifth film in the franchise is now only a couple of weeks away. Directed by John Moore, A GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD sees Willis having another very bad day and this time, teaming-up with son Jack (Jai Courtney) to thwart terrorists on the streets of Moscow, Russia.
Following last weeks first clip of a crushing car chase, we have another action-packed look at the film due in cinemas 14th February.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
