We’ve teamed up once again with Grimm Up North Entertainment as we have another pair of tickets up for grabs for the double UK premiere screening of dark comic chillers, MON AMI and CHOP at the unique Stockport Plaza on Thursday 31st January.

In MON AMI, two slacker hardware store clerks decide to kidnap their boss’s daughter, and hold her to ransom. Things don’t go according to plan, and they are left with a body to dispose of. Then things start to get a whole lot worse.

CHOP meanwhile, follows an obnoxious yuppie who has his life – and ultimately his body – pulled apart by a mysterious figure from his past with an inexplicable grudge.

Both films will be released in the UK later in the year.

To be in with a chance of winning, just answer the following question.

Who is the writer and director of MON AMI?

a) Rob Grant

b) Rob Lowe

c) Rob Zombie

Those unfortunate to miss out on winning can still pre-book tickets for this double screening HERE and those who pre-book two tickets or more will receive a free GRIMMFEST or SOME GUY WHO KILLS PEOPLE T-Shirt at the screening.

Send to our email below with the subject ‘Grimm Up North Mon Ami’ and we’ll pick that winner on Wednesday 30th January and please remember, if you can’t get to the screening in Stockport for 7.00pm on the 31st January or you’re too far away, please don’t enter as we’ll just have to arrange someone else anyway, thanks!

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
