British make-up and special-effects icon Paul Hyett makes his directorial debut with this graphic revenge thriller, THE SEASONING HOUSE. The film premiered at last years FrightFest and centres on a group young girls who are prostituted to the military in Southern Europe during the 1990s. Orphaned deaf mute Angel is enslaved to care for them but when the sadistic Slavic military chief who massacred her family (along with his group of evil cohorts) turns up, young Angel serves up her ingenious and brutal revenge.
Today, we have the new poster for the film still awaiting a release, which co-stars Rosie Day, Sean Pertwee, Kevin Howarth and Anna Walton. You can check out the trailer here, if you missed it!

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
