Despite some poor box-office returns in recent years, the action genre is still trying its hardest to chug along, and say God bless it. Here’s the latest from former WWE wrestler, Dwayne Johnson, as a man who works undercover for the DEA to try and get his son out of a possible 10 year prison sentence. The trailer is short and concise, delivering enough of the plot, characters, and action in just 60 seconds. Directed by Ric Roman Waugh, the man behind the criminally under seen and under appreciated FELON, this looks to be a fairly successful venture with Johnson giving a seemingly good performance.
SNITCH is released 22nd February in the US and 5th April in the UK. It stars Dwayne Johnson, Susan Sarandon, Nadine Velazquez, Jon Bernthal, Michael Kenneth Williams, Harold Perrineau, Barry Pepper, and Benjamin Bratt.
