He’s apparently knocked out Tom Hardy, admitted that he almost scared LAWLESS co-star Mia Wasikowska out of the movie, and now Shia LaBeouf has admitted that he took hard drugs for a movie role.
THE NECESSARY DEATH OF CHARLIE COUNTRYMAN, which debuted at Sundance this week, tells the story of a guy who falls in love with a girl that claims to be the daughter of a mob boss. LaBeouf’s character is on an acid trip through out the film. To make sure that he could portray the character well, he dropped acid and sent the tapes of him tripping to his co star Evan Rachel Wood.
Speaking in an interview, he said:
“I remember sending Evan tapes, I remember trying to conjure this and sending tapes and Evan being like, ‘Yeah, that’s good, but that’s not, but this is, but that ain’t.'”
Well, he takes his job seriously at least…we’ll also keep an ear out for more news on the film, when we have it!
