Following yesterdays first clip and new international trailer, not forgetting it’s premiere at this years Sundance Film Festival, Park Chan-wook’s STOKER is gaining rave reviews. The film follows India (Mia Wasikowska) in the aftermath of her fathers death in a tragic car wreck. Mysterious Uncle Charlie (Matthew Goode), whom she never knew existed, turns up at the funeral and soon moves in with her and her unstable mother (Nicole Kidman). She comes to suspect this charming man may have sinister ulterior motives for his arrival, but is still drawn to his presence.
Here we have a bunch of new stills from the film slated for general release on the 1st March in both the UK and US.
Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
