An all-new bunch of teens will take to the infamous cabin in the woods as Jane Levy’s Mia attempts a drug and alcohol detox with the help of her friends, only for one of them to unleash the soul-swollowing deadites via a familiar-looking tome. Bound in human flesh and inked in blood, the Necronomicon will make sure those unfortunate enough to unlock it’s contents, will pay with their limbs and lives in Fede Alvarez’ EVIL DEAD remake.
While it appears this latest, leaner, green-band trailer may not shock and repulse as the previous teaser and red-band footage, there is enough new imagery in this ‘lighter’ trailer to suggest horror fans have a lot to look forward to. EVIL DEAD looks to be the genre effort to top in 2013, with the recent poster also making a bold statement! It co-stars Shiloh Fernandez, Elizabeth Blackmore, Lou Taylor Pucci, Jessica Lucas, and is released on 12th April.
Dead by dawn? We think so. Check it out!

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
