On Thursday evening, hundreds, if not thousands of fans packed the pavements outside the glittering Empire Leicester Square in London to show their support for the brand new Denzel Washington movie FLIGHT, which hits UK cinemas next week.
The film, directed by Hollywood legend Robert Zemeckis, focuses on a hero airline pilot, played by Washington, who saves a plane from crashing, but trouble comes his way after an investigation that follows, revealing a much darker secret.
Denzel turned out for the star studded bash, alongside co-star Kelly Reilly, producers Jack Rapke and Steve Starkey, and the man himself, Robert Zemeckis. We managed to get a few words with each of them, plus one of Denzel’s biggest fans, singer Jamelia, who was seemingly overcome by the presence of the Hollywood A-lister.
Check out my report from the premiere below, and make sure you catch the superb FLIGHT in UK cinemas from Friday 25th January. Read our 4-star review here.
