As the 2013 Sundance Film Festival kicks-off today, we can bring you the first poster for AFTERNOON DELIGHT, directed by Jill Soloway.
Starring Josh Radnor (HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, LIBERAL ARTS), Kathryn Hahn (PARKS AND RECREATION, GIRLS), Juno Temple (THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, ATONEMENT) and Jane Lynch (GLEE, WRECK-IT RALPH), the film follows Radnor and Hahn’s hipster family and what happens when they hire a stripper (Temple) for a nanny.
Soloway has had experience as a writer/producer for SIX FEET UNDER, HOW TO MAKE IT IN AMERICA and UNITED STATES OF TARA, so it’ll be interesting to see what she makes of sitting in the directors chair. Although I’m not a HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER fan, I do like Radnor and it’s good to see him in some leading roles that don’t require a laughter track. Also, with the quick wit of Jane Lynch on board, this could be brilliant!
AFTERNOON DELIGHT will be screened in the US Dramatic Competition and will premiere on Monday 21st January.
