Could we be anymore excited for the release of Zack Snyder’s forthcoming Superman reboot, MAN OF STEEL? As our drooling mouths dripped with excitement with the recent awesome teaser and full trailers, the short answer would almost certainly be… No. Maybe. Possibly. Definitely!
An all-star cast is led by Henry Cavill taking on the iconic role of Kal El, who’s left with the decision whether to join forces with his home planet villain Zod in destroying Earth, or becoming our God-like saviour. The film will fly into cinemas from the 14th June and co-stars Kevin Costner, Michael Shannon, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane and Russell Crowe.
Check out this gorgeous 13.25 inches high statuette of Cavill in full costume, coming from DC Comics, with a further two expected to feature villains Zod (Shannon) and Faora (Antje Traue). Keep checking THN for updates for the latter images as we try and bring you those updates, but the models should be made available in May and will cost fans around $130.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
