Confirmation In New TV Spot That ‘A Good Day To Die Hard’ Is Rated R!

Yesterday, we reported that Bruce Willis’ return as iconic New York cop John McClane was likely to get an R-rating as he teams up with son Jack (Jai Courtney) in action sequel, A GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD. Many were not happy with Len Wiseman’s enjoyable enough fourth film, due to 20th Century Fox’s demand in securing a more kid-friendly PG-13 rating, leaving those disillusioned that our hero and his familiar foul-mouthed phrase was not featured. Not to mention a less violent spectacle.

DIE HARD fans can now rest easy as confirmation in this brand new television spot for the fifth franchise effort, which hits cinemas 14th February, is most certainly R’ed!

A GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD co stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Cole Hauser, Sebastian Koch, Amaury Nolasco and has MAX PAYNE and FLIGHT OF THE PHOENIX director John Moore at the helm.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
