THE LAST EXORCISM was a decent little surprise upon its release in 2010. We’ll soon follow Nell Sweetzer after the events of that film, as she is placed in a psychiatric hospital. However, demons never know when to let things go. The trailer clearly shows that this sequel has dropped the found footage angle, which seems like a great idea to me. It certainly will bring us closer to the character and allows for some different trickery and effects. There are some great visual elements evidenced in this trailer, and hopefully this will all come together to make a likable sequel. Now with an impressive trailer joining the fantastic poster, it’s a film I can’t wait to see.
THE LAST EXORCISM PART II is released 1st March in the US and 15th March in the UK. It stars Ashley Bell, Spencer Treat Clark, Andrew Sensenig, Judd Lormand, Julia Garner, and Muse Watson.
