Nicolas Winding Refn, the director behind BRONSON (2008), VALHALLA RISING (2009) and DRIVE (2011), is reuniting with Ryan Gosling for the Thailand set ONLY GOD FORGIVES. Gosling stars as a man hiding in Bangkok after killing a policeman. Gosling runs a Thai boxing club and runs drugs on the side. All hell breaks loose when Gosling’s brother is murdered for killing a prostitute and dearest mummy (Kristen Scott Thomas) wants Gosling to enact some revenge. We’ve already seen the shocking teaser poster, and the new teaser trailer below promises some extra action, most likely laced with thought provoking situations and characters.
ONLY GOD FORGIVES will be released sometime in 2013. It stars Ryan Gosling, Kristen Scott Thomas, and Tom Burke.
