I think it’s safe to say that there’s a fair bit of anticipation for Zack Snyder’s MAN OF STEEL, landing in the UK and US on 14th June. If you’re still catching up, you must check out the full trailer and also the viral website that kicked it off. Today, we’ve got another image of Cavill as the iconic character ominously followed by various military outlets, no doubt tying in with the poster when he’s handcuffed.
The best thing about this is Snyder isn’t writing it, and from what we can see with the trailer, it has Christopher Nolan’s very distinct look to it. The outstanding Batman trilogy director has also co-written MAN OF STEEL with David S. Goyer, so there’s a lot of hope for the film about the man created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.
The film stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Antje Traue, Ayelet Zurer, Christopher Meloni and Russell Crowe. Have a look at the new image:
