And they say Christmas only comes once a year. Some of the writers here at THN have been sick and tired of the coverage for The Wayans’ A HAUNTED HOUSE, well never fear because SCARY MOVIE 5 is here and it looks like the exactly the same film. Deciding to spoof the recent surge in found-footage films, the film sees a young married couple setting up cameras to catch some PARANORMAL ACTIVITY. Needless to say some funny (or not so much) goings on occur. The film is even going to spoof INCEPTION because we remember how terrifying that scary movie was.
The trailer may manage to raise a few chuckles as we get to see Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan make light of their drug and alcohol fueled binges, but then you realise that’s just not very funny. So for anyone praying for PARANORMAL ACTIVITY spoofs, 2013 is going to be your year.
SCARY MOVIE 5 is released 12th April 2013. It ‘stars’ Simon Rex, Ashley Risdale, Heather Locklear, Charlie Sheen, Lindsay Lohan, and Katt Williams.
