‘The Avengers’ Assembles A Load Of Concept Art

Know what I really love? Concept art. It’s great isn’t it? It gives you a look at how a film could have looked, which often leaves you with a feeling of great relief they didn’t go with certain ideas, or great regret they didn’t. Looking at you Green Goblin of SPIDER-MAN. THE AVENGERS has just released some concept art courtesy of artist Andy Park. These don’t differ greatly from you we ended up seeing on screen, but they are still a fascinating look at how a film comes together. I especially like to see work on characters we didn’t see much of, such as some background SHIELD agents, The Other, and Thanos.

THE AVENGERS 2 is set for release on 1st May 2015. It should star Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Cobie Smulders, and Samuel L. Jackson

Luke likes many things, films and penguins being among them. He's loved films since the age of 9, when STARGATE and BATMAN FOREVER changed the landscape of modern cinema as we know it. His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies. His favourite films include SEVEN SAMURAI, PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, IN BRUGES, LONE STAR, GODZILLA, and a thousand others.
