In this latest poster for Disney’s THE WIZARD OF OZ prequel; OZ: THE GREAT AND POWERFUL, we get a wonderful look at Rachel Weisz as The Wicked Witch Of The East, also known as Evanora (we her adore her). Weisz certainly has an evil grimace down and the make-up looks wonderful.
Sam Raimi’s take on the world of Oz is both intriguing and alarming, as it looks highly imaginative and inventive, but many of us worry that it looks a bit overdone, in a similar fashion to Tim Burton’s ALICE IN WONDERLAND. It’s a much darker poster than the previous efforts that you can find here, here, here, and not forgetting here.
OZ: THE GREAT AND POWERFUL is released 8th March 2013 in the UK & US. It stars James Franco, Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz, Michelle Williams, Zach Braff, Abigail Spencer, Joey King, Bill Cobbs, and Tony Cox.
