Last month we gave you the trailer for ESCAPE FROM PLANET EARTH, the latest film from writers Cory Edwards and Tony Leech, the guys behind the surprisingly brilliant HOODWINKED. Cal Brunker is in the director’s chair, making this his first feature length theatrical film as director. He has previously worked in the art department on the likes of DESPICABLE ME and ICE AGE: CONTINENTAL DRIFT. ESCAPE FROM PLANET EARTH follows a group of aliens placed in Area 51 who set out to get off the planet. The latest poster promises a wide-range of characters with some distinctive looks. Hopefully this will be a charming and funny film, as the premise certainly sets up an interesting idea of humans as the villains.
ESCAPE FROM PLANET EARTH is released 14th February 2013 in the US. It stars Brendan Fraser, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jessica Alba, Craig Robinson, Jane Lynch, James Gandolfini, and Rob Corddry.

His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies. His favourite films include SEVEN SAMURAI, PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, IN BRUGES, LONE STAR, GODZILLA, and a thousand others.
