We finally have a poster from Bryan Singer’s forthcoming fantasy JACK THE GIANT SLAYER, that does more than just splash the film’s title over its entire design.
THE USUAL SUSPECTS and X-MEN director has a host of likeable faces amongst the cast for the fairytale fable in which young Jack’s naivety with a magic bean, unleashes a war with the giants of the skies when a monster-sized beanstalk leads to a gateway into their world. The film has had a long, frustrating road to big-screen considering it was completed over 18 months ago and expected in cinemas during the summer. The film now also has a softened new title, changed from JACK THE GIANT KILLER.
Nicholas Hoult takes the role of our titular hero, with the likes of Ian McShane, Ewan McGregor, Bill Nighy, Stanley Tucci and Eddie Marsan supporting. What are your thoughts on the new poster?
You can also check out the first trailer HERE if you missed it last december!
JACK THE GIANT SLAYER will finally arrive in US cinemas from 1st March 2013 and later in the UK on the 22nd March.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
