I always enjoy watching KNOCKED UP and especially Leslie Mann and Paul Rudd’s bickering-but-lovable couple Pete & Debbie, so it’s great to see them get their own film. Early word on Judd Apatow’s comedic return, as well the acting duo with THIS IS 40, has been pretty strong as are the terrific supporting cast of Jason Segel, Melissa McCarthy, Albert Brooks, John Lithgow, Lena Dunham, Megan Fox and Chris O’Dowd.
The film hits US cinemas 21st December, although we here in the UK have to wait until 14th February 2013. We’ll just have to contend with a couple of new featurettes and hilarious red-band trailer.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
