Chris Hemsworth’s hammer-swinging superhero sequel THOR: THE DARK WORLD is close to completing it’s shooting schedule here in the UK, yet fans still have another year to wait to see him back in action on the big-screen. The follow-up to Kenneth Branagh’s Marvel hit is this time helmed by Alan Taylor, familiar for his acclaimed work on television series GAME OF THRONES.
The plot will see the God Of Thunder summon the help of human friends Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) and Dr. Eric Selvig (Stellen Skarsgaard) when intergalactic evildoers The Dark Elves, led by Malekith (Christopher Eccleston) and Algrim (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), threaten both Asgard and Earth following the destructive events in THE AVENGERS.
After a recent sneak-peak at a cast and crew-only limited poster from Olly Moss, we have an early look at some banner artwork from the film set for cinemas 8th November 2013.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
