Hollywood and the world of superhero adaptations are really praying that our existence doesn’t cease to exist in the next couple of weeks, as they have a very busy 2015 for us. It just got even busier with the announcement of the FANTASTIC FOUR reboot’s release date. In the same year that we will be welcoming THE AVENGERS 2, ANT MAN, and JUSTICE LEAGUE, we will also be experiencing THE FANTASTIC FOUR (don’t forget the ‘The’) on 6th March 2015. It’s an earlier start than most superhero features, but I think it’s in 20th Century Fox’s best interest to avoid the heavy hitters. THE FANTASTIC FOUR will be directed by Josh Trank, the man behind this year’s incredible CHRONICLE. It seems as though we’ll be getting a serious edge to the franchise. I am one of the very few who enjoyed Tim Storey’s takes on the characters. It was the kind of harmless fun that reminded me of films from when I was a wee-nipper.
Fox are also releasing their upcoming big films in 3D. Including THE WOLVERINE, PERCY JACKSON: SEA OF MONSTERS, DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES, and X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. The former two will be post-converted, and their is no official word on whether or not the latter two will also be post-converted or shot in the format.
Expect to hear some casting rumours on THE FANTASTIC FOUR in the near future. See what THN is expecting from the reboot right here.

Luke likes many things, films and penguins being among them. He's loved films since the age of 9, when STARGATE and BATMAN FOREVER changed the landscape of modern cinema as we know it. His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies. His favourite films include SEVEN SAMURAI, PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, IN BRUGES, LONE STAR, GODZILLA, and a thousand others.
