Writer Zach Helm, who is known for his work on the film STRANGER THAN FICTION, is set to write an updated version of the movie JUMANJI. The film, which was adaptated from Chris Van Allsburg’s short story, starred Robin Williams and Kirsten Dunst back in 1995.
News came out about a possible JUMANJI remake in the summer, when Sony executives revealed that they were planning an ‘updated’ version of the film.
It is currently unknown who will direct the project, but Helm wrote and directed MR MAGORIUM’S WONDER EMPORIUM. Will he do the double for this project?
