See what I did there?! Yes, upcoming comedy WALK OF SHAME has added James Marsden to its cast list.
SCRUBS alumni Elizabeth Banks has already signed her named to the project, which is written (and will be directed) by Steven Brill (MR. DEEDS, DRILLBIT TAYLOR). Banks will star as a determined news anchor who believes she has failed the audition for her ‘dream job’. Feeling pretty low, she decides to paint the town red and gets very, very drunk, consequently ending up in bed with a total stranger. However, when she receives a phone call from her agent to say she actually got the job, she must trace her way back through the LA streets (and many bars) to make it to her first broadcast – hungover or not.
At the moment it’s unclear who Marsden will play, but having starred as the love interest in several comedies over the last few years (ENCHANTED, 27 DRESSES, 30 ROCK) it’s quite probable that he could star as Banks’ one night stand.
Could this be an ANCHORMAN 2: THE LEGEND CONTINUES rival? Maybe. Maybe not.
