Fans of Marvel’s billionaire industrialist playboy Tony Stark still have a while to before we see Robert Downey Jr. strap on that upgraded armour in IRON MAN 3. Shane Black has co-wrote the film (the first to have a completed script before shooting began), who also takes over Jon Favreau on directing duties. It marks the second time working with Downey Jr. after festive yuletide cult comic-thriller, KISS KISS BANG BANG.
The film will this time see Stark take on villains Alrich Killian and The Mandarin (played by Guy Pearce and Ben Kingsley) and below we have two new teaser trailers (one from Japan) with added footage we’ve yet to see before.
IRON MAN 3 is set for UK cinemas on the 26th April 2013 and the US on the 3rd May. It co-stars Rebecca Hall, Don Cheadle, Gwenyth Paltrow, James Badge Dale and William Sadler.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
